Nature-lovers age 2-5 and a parent or guardian are invited to join us for our Sprouts & Seedlings Preschool Play Series. Explore Bookworm Gardens with your learner during this springtime adventure! Activities will be guided by the season and include story time, art-making and music and movement inspired by nature. Experienced educators will encourage children to nurture their sense of wonder through play, ask questions about the world around them, and experience the Gardens with all five of their senses. Participants will get to enjoy a snack provided by the Gardens at the end of their session.
Spring 2024 Focus Question:
Over the course of the series, we will focus on the question: How do things in nature change over time? Learners will engage in exploration of the life cycle of plants, animals and bugs!
Dates and Times:
This 4-week series of classes begins Wednesday May 8 and continues on Wednesdays May 15, May 22, and May 29. Two sessions will be offered for each class date. Session l will take place from 9:00 am -10:15 am. Session ll will take place from 10:45 am -12:00 pm. Session I is identical to Session ll. Please enroll only in Session l or Session ll.
Cost (includes all four classes):
Member Cost: $60 per parent / child pair
Non-Member Cost: $70 per parent / child pair
plus $20 per each additional participant ages two and older
